I recently moderated a conversation with Richmond-based entrepreneur BK Fulton – a second-career producer of international films, plays, and books which highlight little-known stories of women and people of color.
And I’ve just learned of a 33-year old British physicist who, upon finding no online presence for a highly-acclaimed female climatologist, wrote 1,750 Wikipedia bios about female and minority scientists and engineers.
I am moved by the way brilliant people leverage their creative gifts to advocate for a purpose – they make art and science more accessible and inclusive, and make the world a richer place.
