Josh Bell, first baseman for the Washington Nationals, has invited anyone “exploring self-improvement, seeking out good, or pursuing progress,” to join his summer book club. Focused on “what being a good human being looks like,” Josh Bell’s Book Club features a monthly book selection made by Bell and virtual discussions hosted by DC area librarians and Bell himself. Book number two is Make Your Bed by Admiral William H. McRaven.
Baseball and a summer book club, all in one. I am living the dream.
