Years ago, a manager who worked for me called to share her “good luck” – client business was walking through the door in droves! As a viewer from the proverbial balcony of her world, I was quick to point out her prior six months of hard work – calling activity, marketing, and team development.
It might be a bit of luck. It also might be opportunity, location, privilege, personality, hard work, access, timing, and genius, etc. I wonder why luck is our “go-to” when opportunity and intention collide?
