Many of us – including me – like to be consistently challenged in our work. Lately, I realize I am navigating these challenges with heightened anxiety. As I take stock of the problem, I wonder: How can I be stretched with less stress?
Some suggest mindfulness, yoga, exercise, and other healthy practices. All wise, yet not as helpful for me in this scenario. Reflecting on times where I stretched without stress, I landed on two conditions:
1) A fun, high-functioning team with me on the journey, and
2) Focused, undistracted time to accomplish the mission.
Now I am productive with TEAM and TIME in mind. What are your conditions for stretching with less stress?
