On April 27, Encorepreneur hosted a virtual walk through some of Richmond’s most historic and interesting neighborhoods with one of Richmond’s most knowledgeable leaders, Bill Martin. Martin’s day job is Director of The Valentine Museum and he is leader in multiple roles in the community. He is best known to many Richmonders for his personally-led tours of Richmond’s most historic and interesting neighborhoods.  When we think of Richmond’s past, we often think about Patrick Henry and Thomas Jefferson, or the city’s role in the slave trade and the Civil War. Martin helps us learn about the rich history of the city’s Irish, Italian and Welsh neighborhoods, and its recognition as the Wall Street of the south.
