The Business Women’s Giving Circle (BWGC) of the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia has just completed its inaugural grant cycle, awarding $40,000 to organizations providing STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and Entrepreneurship programs to girls in Northern Virginia. The winning organizations are George Mason University Foundation FOCUS (Females of Color Underrepresented in STEM), Marymount University ENLIST (Empowering Leaders in STEM/STEAM), and Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) Girls Entrepreneurship Camp.
