Nancy Eberhardt will participate in the  8th Annual Virginia Women’s Conference on Saturday, October 21, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The conference will explore tools for success by providing advice from experts on health, careers, leadership, personal development, business, finance, and retirement. It will feature remarks from Senator Warner, prominent keynote speakers, and will include workshops, a resource expo, and networking opportunities.

The theme of the 2017 conference is DameChangers in honor of the late Elizabeth “Betty” Jolly, Nancy’s dear friend and colleage. Jolly was a strong woman with a wry sense of humor. She was a true public servant; a champion for public education, health, and good government. Before Betty passed away, she had begun a book project honoring Virginia women who lead by example and make major changes in their fields without ego or fanfare. Betty, herself, was one of these women. We honor Betty and all the unsung women leaders who have gone before us, who are with us today, and who will lead our future.

This event is free to all participants but registration is required. Individuals with disabilities who require an auxiliary aid or service should contact Reagan Blewett at 202-224-6210 no later than Friday, October 13, 2017.

This conference is a nonpartisan, official U.S. Senate constituent services event dedicated to providing a venue for Virginia women of all ages to meet, network, hear from experts on a variety of important topics, and gather resources from federal, state, and local agencies.
